Maria's

Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

Our story

Maria’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant Founder, Giovanni Giordano (1931-2012), was born and raised in Naples, Italy.

His father was killed by Nazi's in 1945. He immigrated to New York in 1959. Hard working, he eventually opened a pizzeria in Port Washington and a fishmarket in Centereach. He retired to Cape Coral with his wife Ruth and 3 young children in 1979. He opened Maria’s in 1991 with Cesare Gregorat. Today, his recipes are prepared as his mother taught him, using only the highest quality ingredients.

In keeping with our family tradition in serving the freshest, most delicious Italian dinners and pizza in Cape Coral possible, all items are made-to-order as your server informs the kitchen. Please bear this in mind, and enjoy your dining experience with us as you relax and converse enjoying a glass of wine or your beverage of choice. We are not a fast food restaurant! Giovanni's sons, Joseph and Alfonso, and Mamma Ruth invite you to...
